While I was on my way home on 6 July (Tuesday), a guy asked me for $2 to buy dinner after I crossed Cecil Street. I told him no but I will buy him dinner instead. Thinking that he will reject my offer because he just wanted money for something else…perhaps to buy cigarettes or buy 4D. He paused and accepted my offer. So we walked to a nearby coffeeshop and I bought him $2.50 of Fan Choy. While we were walking to the coffee shop, he told me he is a bankrupt as a result of being cheated. He patted on my shoulder and thanked me for the the dinner. I paid for his dinner and  just walked off without even asking for his name…..
